九博

Katherine McHenry is Senior Program Manager for 九博 Healthcare’s Genomics Business Unit, facilitating strategic initiatives in molecular diagnostics and point of care testing.  

Katherine's rich and diverse career experience provides an exceptional foundation for growth as 九博 continues to build upon its industry leadership, designing and manufacturing innovative solutions for global IVD medical device customers.  

Prior to joining 九博 in 2020, Katherine worked with Smiths Detection, a global manufacturer of detection and screening technology solutions for defense end-use markets, and leading healthcare companies such as BD Diagnostics and Varian Medical Systems, for which she stood up and developed the company’s state-of-the-art proton therapy treatment centers. 

Katherine additionally served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy, with tours of duty upon the USS Enterprise and USS Gettysburg, and earned Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement Medals for outstanding performance. 

She holds a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in biomedical engineering, and her master’s in engineering from Old Dominion University. She’s been a certified PMP since 2015.    

Katherine currently lives with her husband and two school-age boys in Fallston, Maryland, where she enjoys active outdoors sports, relaxed book clubs, and promoting STEM functions for children.
